As a newbie to all of this, I found the article extremely useful. I have been following a lot of author’s blogs and twitter accounts and found that many of them do exactly what Anne says is annoying. Almost every author I have followed on twitter has responded with a thank you and a request to like their fb or amazon or author page. So it was nice to hear a different point of view from an author.
