  1. Hi there! I understand this is somewhat off-topic however I had to ask.
Does running a well-established blog like yours require a lot of work?
I’m completely new to writing a blog but I do write in my journal on a daily basis. I’d like to start a blog so I will
be able to share my experience and thoughts online.
Please let me know if you have any kind of recommendations or tips for new aspiring bloggers.
    Appreciate it!

    • My blog is not well-established at all. I just started posting to it regularly (after neglecting it for a long long time) in late October and I have relatively few followers. I started it to share great writing resources I come across with my in-person critique group. Some of our members are not on Facebook, so they were not able to see my author’s page there. Now, I post here, and it goes to my Facebook page, too. I don’t usually write very much and I post more often than you really should to have a successful blog. There are some excellent advice blogs for bloggers on WordPress. In general, you should: write about something you know and love; post regularly (usually once or twice a week); engage readers with polls, contests or questions; promote your blog by setting up feeds on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest (if you have images); include a link or links to related resources on the Web; comment on related blogs; and, above all, always try to help others succeed.
