  1. Hi there! I understand this is somewhat off-topic however I had to ask.
Does running a well-established blog like yours require a lot of work?
I’m completely new to writing a blog but I do write in my journal on a daily basis. I’d like to start a blog so I will
be able to share my experience and thoughts online.
Please let me know if you have any kind of recommendations or tips for new aspiring bloggers.
    Appreciate it!

    1. My blog is not well-established at all. I just started posting to it regularly (after neglecting it for a long long time) in late October and I have relatively few followers. I started it to share great writing resources I come across with my in-person critique group. Some of our members are not on Facebook, so they were not able to see my author’s page there. Now, I post here, and it goes to my Facebook page, too. I don’t usually write very much and I post more often than you really should to have a successful blog. There are some excellent advice blogs for bloggers on WordPress. In general, you should: write about something you know and love; post regularly (usually once or twice a week); engage readers with polls, contests or questions; promote your blog by setting up feeds on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest (if you have images); include a link or links to related resources on the Web; comment on related blogs; and, above all, always try to help others succeed.
