  1. These are a little generic/at the beginner’s level, but some are pretty useful. Don’t stop writing, don’t take breaks, make it your priority, I think that’s one of the most useful things in there. A good list in all, I’ve heard most of it before, but it’s interesting to consider it from the point of view of someone who writes children’s books, instead of adult novels.

  2. Love Jane Yolen. One of the most prolific children’s authors around, and known as “America’s Hans Christian Andersen”, I’d say one might be wise to take her rules to heart. 🙂
