It’s funny to come across this post today. I just had a discussion this morning with another writer about the importance of a name. A name has to fit just right or it can disqualify the character or make them less appealing.
Character names are critical to how a reader views or sympathizes with a character. A name can turn someone off completely to a character if it doesn’t fit just right.
